In the 1990s she mostly had guest appearances on numerous shows. She also acted in a few films like House and Joe’s So Mean to Josephine. In the 2000s, she became known to mainstream audiences for her role as Teyla Emmagan on the TV series Stargate Atlantis. While on the show, she had appeared in the movies The Aviary, A Dog’s Breakfast, and Hardwired. Her recent work on television was in an episode of Arrow.
